St Peter's Christmas meal

The children are served their wonderful christmas lunch by the Staff and Governor's of St Peter's. The cost of the lunch will be £1.60 as per normal school dinners.

Swimming lessons - Class 3

Swimming lessons start today for Class 3 - this year class 3 will be using the facilities of Tockington Manor. Lessons will be on Thursday afternoons from 2:30-3:00pm returning to school by 3:30pm.

All classes will be creating fantastic art in various forms during this period. The theme will be the ‘rainforest’.

School Fayre

 Friends of St Peter's are holding a May Fayre on Saturday 9th May commencing at 11.30 am on the school field. Monies raised from these kind of events are used towards purchasing items that the children would not normally be able to have within the confines of the school budget.   So, please come along and support us.

 
There will be the ever popular Tombola stall, plant sale, games, crafts and refreshments. But, best of all come and throw some wet sponges at Mr Purvis!
 
Bottle donations  - please send to the school office between now and Friday 8th May. 
 
Raffle Tickets - please return raffle stubs used/unused to the school office by Thursday 7th May.

Class 4/5 Leave School at 9.15 am to visit Bristol Cathedral to take part in a 'Candlemass' ceremony.  Returning to School at 3.15 pm.

Key Stage 1 Christmas Play

Key stage 1 pupils (Classes 1 & 2) will be performing their Nativity Play "Born in a Barn" on Tuesday 9th December at 2.30pm and Thursday 11th December at 6.00pm.

If at all possible we would ask that no babies or younger children are brought to the performance.

Tickets are now available and can be obtained by returning the slip from the school notice that was issued recently. We are initially limiting tickets to 2 per family and will allocate any spare tickets on Monday Dec 8th.

Alternatively, email secretary@stpetersprimary.co.uk with your name, your childs name & class, the number of tickets you require and the date you wish to attend.

At the end of the performance there will be a collection for our chosen charity this year, St Peter's Hospice.

Movie Night at St Peters

We have organised a movie night onFriday 12th December 2008 at the school.

KS1 will be watching Kung Fu Panda (PG) from 4.15-6pm.

KS2 will be watching The Golden Compass (PG) from 6.15-8pm.

Tickets cost £1.50 and will include a drink, popcorn and a contribution to St Peter's Hospice.

Children are welcome to wear pyjamas and to bring a teddy and a duvet/blanket!

Please fill in the form supplied by the school by Wed 3rd December in order that we can order food and allocate tickets properly.

Alternatively, email secretary@stpetersprimary.co.uk with your name, your childs name and class, confirming you want a ticket.
