Sign Up for Email notices and help save a tree!
As from January 2009, we'll be trying to help make St Peter's' more efficient and eco-friendly by offering parents/carers the option to receive school notices and newsletters by email or via the website. It's faster, it's easier, it's more efficient, it will save the school time and money and it reduces the amount of paper we use and the amount of printing/copying/sorting we have to do. .
Here's how it works
Register (right) and you'll receive the following information by email or via the school website;
1. School Notices
These will be automatically sent to your chosen email address as soon as they are issued. They will also appear in the Class Notices pages on the school website (accessed from the main menu). This development is under construction and will be implemented shortly. Please sign up now though nad we will inform you when this facility goes live.
2. Newsletters
These will automatically be posted to the school website upon publication. Sign up for email notification and you'll get an email sent each time a new newsletter is published. It will contain a link which will enable you to go straight to the website where you can view it or download it. This facility is available now.
Aside from email notifications, we hope you will find the notices and newsletters sections of the website useful if you need to check for information. i.e. if you have mislaid a school notice or think you have not received one.
You can, of course, opt to continue to receive paper copies too but it will REALLY help the school if you don't!
