Welcome to the new school year!
Miss Bagienska, Mrs Cole and Miss Daly are really looking forward to spending an amazing school year with you. 

Reading

New books will be sent home every Friday. We encourage you to listen to your child read three times a week and record this in their reading records which are to be returned on Thursday. Enjoy the time reading together and remember that stories are one of the most magical things in a child's world. 

Year 1 Homework

Alongside reading your child will receive homework on Google Classroom every Friday which should be handed in/uploaded by the following Thursday. Homework will mainly consist of spellings, reading and spending some time on the Numbots app (passwords are in their reading records). Occasionally there will be homework linked to our overarching curriculum theme for the term.

P.E. Ready Days

Monday - outdoor PE with Bristol Sports in the afternoon. 

Friday - indoor PE with Miss Bagienska in the afternoon.
