Towards the end of their Primary school life Year 6 children experience a residential trip. Parents are informed of the trip at the start of the year and are encouraged to make regular small payments. The residential camp is usually run by PGL or JCA who provide lots of outdoor activities including: abseiling, climbing, orienteering, fencing, archery, raft building.
Year 6 Residential
During the week beginning Monday 16th May, Year 6 travelled to Hayling Island, near Portsmouth, for their annual ‘camp’. It was an incredibly busy and tiring week, with activities such as climbing, abseiling, kayaking and snorkelling pushing the children to the edge of their comfort zones! All the children behaved excellently and took part in activities with super enthusiasm. They were a credit to St Peter’s – well done Class 6. Mr Allen
