Curriculum 

In terms 1 and 2 our overarching topic will be 'Where I Live'. Our history lessons will focus on the engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. We will look at his impact on Bristol, including looking at some of the key landmarks he designed such as the Clifton suspension bridge. We will also look at Victorian time period. In our Geography lessons we will look at Pilning and Bristol. We will think about our local area and where our school is located as well as looking at the city of Bristol. We will go on a trip to Bristol to visit the SS Great Britain towards the end of term 1. In our science lessons we will learn about different materials. We will learn the properties of different materials and carry out experiments to discover more about these properties.
