The last 2 weeks Nursery have been learning all about Winter. We have read “Jack Frost” and “The Little Snowflake” developing further knowledge around the weather in Winter. We have had great fun going on a Winter hunt, looking for all things wintery. We found frost, ice, berries for the birds, icy spider webs and holly. We explored ice play, learning how and why ice melts and talking about how it feels. We made yummy melted snowman biscuits and enjoyed lots of fun at the playdough station. We have been practising our number skills by finding the correct number of buttons for our snowmen.
