Our focus book last week was “Little Red Riding Hood”. The children worked together to make jam tarts which they enjoyed having at snack time, we used our funky fingers to weave ribbon baskets and role played Granny’s cottage in The Den. We furthered our number knowledge by exploring Number 2.

This week we have joined The Big Garden Bird Watch by reading “The Little Lost Robin”, creating a bird hide area, making bird feeders and creating binoculars. We have been lucky enough to spot a robin, blackbirds, coal tits and sparrows. Our number this week has been Number 3, and we are getting along well in Fun Phonics, practising sounds, rhythm and alliteration.
