Our book last week was “Owl Babies” we spent the week learning all about nocturnal and diurnal woodland animals. We explored torches in the dark den with animal silhouette puppets, we made toilet roll owls and we practised our phonics, learning our new sound ‘d’. This week our book has been “Dear Zoo”. We have enjoyed our small world savannah, making marks in the sand and finding out all about the animals that live there. The Den has been turned into ‘The Zoo Vets Surgery’ and we have used great imagination helping all the poorly animals, looking after them and making them better. We have also enjoyed lots of sunny outdoor play, with the water and the mud kitchen. Today we had great fun dressing up for Comic Relief.
