After an early breakfast, we journeyed into the centre of Paris. Although the journey was only 17 miles, the Paris traffic took us about 2 hours to finally reach our destination. Most of us climbed the 669 steps of the Eiffel Tower to the second level to see the stunning views across the city and buy a souvenir from the gift shop. After our lunch underneath the tower, we boarded the Bateaux Parisien for a cruise down the Seine in the glorious sunshine. Our final destination was the Musee D'Orsay before heading back to the Château for dinner and our night activity - crepe making.
