In Nursery last week our book was “The Colour Monster”, and we enjoyed activities exploring our feelings, sorting colours and retelling the story with finger puppets. We made playdough monsters, discovered a little bit about raindrops and how the weather makes us feel. 

This week we have read “Goldilocks and the three bears” widening our understanding of big, medium and small. We have measured bears using cubes, enjoyed role playing in the bears cottage and tried different flavoured porridge. We discussed the importance of a healthy breakfast and sorted healthy and unhealthy foods. Baby bear got himself stuck in a tree and we all worked together, sharing ideas about how we could rescue him.
