Last week our focus book was “The emperor's egg” we learned all about penguins and other animals that live in cold places. We explored our Antarctic tuff tray and role played in the Arctic Café. We’ve continued some fabulous work in phonics, we are getting very good at this and now know 12 sounds! This week we have enjoyed lots of Spring and Easter activities. We have been on a Spring hunt around school, investigating signs of the season changing. We took part in an Egg hunt in the forest school area and had some yummy treats. One of our friends was kind enough to bring in some real chicks from home, we found out lots about them. We have been furthering our Maths skills this week by using logic and spatial patterning when completing puzzles.
