We have continued learning ‘All about me’, with our focus book being “It’s ok to be different”. We have been drawing self-portraits, making puzzles using our faces and taking part in some relaxing mindfulness yoga sessions. In circle time we have been discussing our likes and dislikes and continuing to learn more about each other, we are making some lovely friendships.

 

Our book of the week last week was ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt!’ We had lots of fun activities going on, playdough bear cutters, colour sorting bears and a narrow gloomy cave in the role play area. We have been using the Story Suitcase to explore different textures and props, while retelling the story. We went on our own bear hunt in the forest area and had fun making Jam Sandwiches for our Teddy Bears picnic.
