PSHE

We have adapted the PSHE curriculum from the PSHE Association to ensure all elements within the expected teaching and learning of Personal and Social Education are taught and learnt by the pupils. The overviews are linked below and are on a two year cycle like other foundation subjects across the school due to our mixed aged classes. 

RELATIONSHIPS, SEX AND HEALTH EDUCATION 

At St Peter's Primary school, we believe that Relationship, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) enables children to be able to understand what good relationships are like and how to keep them; know how our bodies change and feel as we grow and marvel at the awe and wonder of the creation of new life and how to nurture emotional and physical health.

We follow DfE Guidelines when delivering RSHE and utilise teaching materials and resources from Medway. 

Parents have the right to withdraw their children from sex education. If this is your wish, please discuss with the Executive Head or Head of School.
